Charleston is one of the TOP retirement areas and family-friendly places to relocate from Northern states. We moved from Ohio to Summerville, SC about seven years ago and ever since have been enjoying SO much more sunshine, lots of beach exploring, BEAUTIFUL plantations and SO many places that we still have yet to discover.
