American Negro Heritage is a lawful peoplehood restoration process focused on continuity, documentation, and dignity for The American Negro and their Descendants—a historical status formed under U.S. racial caste law, not a racial label. We document this historical cultural preservation. The American Negro is defined as (U.S. census records identifying ancestors as “Negro,” “Colored,” “Mulatto,” or “Black” prior to 1965)

1. Preserving and documenting the heritage, lineage, and cultural contributions of the American
Negro.
2. Conducting ancestry, genealogy, and historical research.
3. Providing educational programs, scholarships, leadership development, and youth initiatives.
4. Producing arts, media, and cultural expression projects.
5. Facilitating community development programs that promote economic mobility and
empowerment.
6. Advancing mental health, wellness, and trauma-informed community support.
7. Conducting policy research and public education in service to the community
