Good evening. My name is Celeste de la Cabra (they/she), and here you can expect to find in-depth, thoughtful, and entertaining discussions and analyses of films of all kinds. You can also expect more fun and casual videos discussing Blu-rays and physical media.
I'm a leftist, an anti-fascist, an ethical vegan, non-binary, queer, and an atheist. Stating this up front is important because these things are important to me and will naturally inform my biases and analyses. I'm not interested in pretending to be neutral on social issues or politics.
My goal on this channel is to go deeper, both in the films I choose to discuss and how I discuss them. I approach every film I watch as a piece of art, rather than just content or entertainment, and I aim to encourage others to do the same. If that sounds intriguing to you, I do hope you'll join me.
