Art is the medium through which a philosophy is most easily channeled into public consciousness.
Throughout history, art has always been a faithful mirror of a culture's philosophy. Since human ambition is unlimited, since our pursuit and achievement of values is a lifelong process - and the higher the values, the harder the struggle - we all need a moment, an hour or some period of time in which we can experience the sense of our completed task, the sense of living in a universe where our values have been successfully achieved. It's like a moment of rest, a moment to gain fuel to move farther. Art gives us that fuel. Art gives us the experience of seeing the full, immediate, concrete reality of our distant goals.
