Welcome to Day behdin bars.a documentary-style journey into what daily life is really like inside some of the toughest prisons in the world.

Every episode takes you inside one prison, in one country, revealing what happens from the moment inmates arrive. We explore intake and processing, cell life, daily routines, prison hierarchies, the unwritten rules inmates are expected to follow, and what life looks like when release is finally within reach — or when there is no release date at all.

No sensationalism. No exaggerated stories. Just a clear, deeply researched look at the people, rules, routines, and justice systems operating behind walls most of us will never see.

From the overcrowded prisons of the Philippines to Japan's highly structured correctional system, Russia's notorious penal colonies, and prisons across the world, each episode reveals how differently societies deal with crime, punishment, and rehabilitation.
