After spending more than 20 years writing songs—often quietly and without expectation—Jay finally stepped into the studio to record his debut album, Still My First Try.
This album is an honest take on what it means to be human: messy, imperfect, and still showing up anyway. It’s sincere when it needs to be and doesn’t take itself too seriously when it doesn’t.
We were all thrown into this life with no instruction manual, wondering who we are, where we came from, and why we’re here. Just figuring it out on the fly, together.
