After being married for eleven years we realize that there are many different stages to marriage, parenting, grandparenting and life in general that often times we are not prepared for. Not only are we blindsided by un-for-seen events, love is put to the test and the words "For Better or For Worse" suddenly become more than just words. It's now time to put actions behind those words. Everyone is excited about the engagement, the wedding planning, the wedding day and the fairytale of living life happily ever after but no one ever told us about the struggles. The behind the scenes of marriage and how hard it actually is. We have to grant grace to ourselves and allow growth and change to take place. We have to love our spouse beyond expectations.
