Sustainable living has always been a part of our lives. It is something that has been a part of our belief. Our journey started roughly 12 years ago in 2006 and has crescendo'd greater and greater in our lives to this day.
Starting our lives we were just like any other individual trying to raise a family. We went to school, got a job, took out a mortgage and started to finance a car. Through this ten year period we kept asking ourselves that there has to be more. We started with chickens and then moved on to gardening our front yard. Then for about 3 years we got heavy into aquaponics. All while doing these projects we felt a greater sense of accomplishment and desire to be self sustaining. As this evolution took place it lead us to build our own home debt free.
