The Urdu-langage YouTube channel of Muhammad Afsar Khan -- an Islamabad-based Pakistani journalist. He was born on 12 September 1958 in Gujrat district, Punjab, Pakistan.
At a young age of 17 in 1975, he started writing in the English-language sports magazine 'Sportimes'. It was Pakistan's first sports magazine. The magazine belonged to the Progressive Papers Ltd which also published the country's leading newspapers 'Pakistan Times' and 'Imroze' along with a weekly 'Lail-o-Nihar'. For the next six years, he confined himself to sports writing.
In 1982, he joined mainstream journalism becoming sub-editor in Rawalpindi's 'Haider' newspaper which at that time was the third largest Urdu-language daily in the city after 'Jang' and 'Nawa-i-Waqt'. Though the paper was comparatively small, it was a better learning place.
He was news editor with 'Pakistan Observer', Islamabad (0212-13).
Slowly, he moved to digital media.
