Bill Austin, Founder and CEO of Starkey Hearing Technologies, founded Starkey Hearing Foundation in 1984, to bring the gift of hearing to those in need.
Starkey Hearing Foundation uses hearing as a vehicle to reflect caring and change lives around the world. Disabling hearing loss affects more than 466 million people, including 34 million children, worldwide, yet many do not have access to the hearing devices that can help them. Starkey Hearing Foundation’s mission is to give the gift of hearing to those in need, empowering them to achieve their potential. Today, we continue to travel the globe helping people in need, and to date have given the gift of hearing in more than 100 countries.
