February challenge still continues: movement after meals 😘
Hey beautiful people ❤️. Happy belated Valentine’s Day 😘.
Did you know: if insulin is down, the liver cannot store fat—it has to burn it? Is that actually true? 🤔
Here’s the nuance:
Lower insulin shifts the body toward fat-burning, but it doesn’t flip a magic switch. Context matters—movement, timing, and consistency all play a role.
This information is one of the reasons for the February challenge: movement eg walking 10–20 minutes after each meal. It is not to chase fat loss myths—but to improve insulin response, blood sugar control, and metabolic flexibility.
Simple habits. Real physiology. Sustainable results. 🚶🏽♀️🔥

I don’t even know if using too many emojis are in or out but I leaned that we are now saying “clock it” with our finger tips? Okay o 😂😘.
Okay back to business. Our monthly challenges are back on and the first one starts February 1. The goal of this challenge is to move for a minimum of 10mins after eating your meals especially your heaviest one. I chose this challenge because I have been researching a lot about blood sugar, insulin resistance and its impact on our health. I am not a health professional so I won’t be giving any medical details. Please research yourself. I am hoping the challenges in 2026 will be of purpose to my health and hopefully to yours.
Movement can be leaving the dishes to wash till after you eat, walking, vacuuming, dancing, marching in place etc. Do something for a minimum of 10mins.
This challenge is hard for some; so please don’t get discouraged. Trust me I know the feeling of wanting to sit down and relax after eating. Don’t! 😂. Let’s get up and move together.
