As the June Challenge comes to a close, I want to congratulate everyone who participated. Thank you for showing up, encouraging one another, and investing in your health throughout the month.
We learned that progress is not about perfection. It is about consistency, persistence, and continuing to move forward even when life happens.
Because this journey does not end on June 30, I am extending the challenge into July with Strength Training Summer!
Our goal remains simple: complete 2–3 strength training workouts each week and continue building healthy habits that support long-term wellness.

Today, I took it easy and focused on making frequent movements throughout the day to reach my 10,000-step goal. As I continue easing back into workouts, I’m reminding myself that progress isn’t always about pushing harder—sometimes it’s about moving smarter.
I also broke my 16-hour fast with chicken, spinach, and jollof rice. Nourishing my body, listening to what it needs, and taking things one day at a time.
A gentle reminder: every step counts. Every healthy choice matters. Keep showing up for yourself, even if it looks different than it did yesterday.
So many of us wait for the perfect time, the perfect plan, or the perfect circumstances. But progress isn’t built on perfection—it’s built on showing up, even when things aren’t perfect.
One healthy choice. One walk. One positive decision. One day at a time.
Keep focusing on what you can do, not what you can’t. The small things you do consistently will always matter more than the big things you do occasionally.
Today was a rest day, and that is part of the process too. Recovery helps the body rebuild, recharge, and get ready for the next workout. Consistency is not just about movement—it is also about knowing when to rest.
Six days in and still committed. Looking forward to getting back at it tomorrow. Keep showing up, one day at a time. We have got this! 💪🏾
