GLOBAL WEEK FOR SYRIA
Over two hundred musicians, artists, cultural activists, philosophers and other European, American and Middle Eastern intellectuals united to share their energy and mastery to encourage hope and belief in positive future and reconciliation in Syria in the framework of Global Week for Syria project.
All participants of the project want to demonstrate to a wide international audience their solidarity with Syrian people, musicians and artistic intelligentsia in aspiration to preserve the unique and rich heritage and love to Syria.
“We were touched by the number of people from different parts of the world that expressed their willingness to contribute and take part in our project” – says the initiator of Global Week for Syria.
Hannibal Saad, the director of the festival, sees that the contribution of people brings hope to all Syrians. Also sends a clear message to the international community to encourage them to help stop the war.
