Iโ€™ve been backpacking full-time for over 6 years across 15 countries. No house, no car, no job โ€” just me, a tent, my backpack, and the road. From Norwayโ€™s frozen silence to Spainโ€™s burning heat, Iโ€™ve lived every night under the stars. Iโ€™ve faced wild boars, floods, snakes, even an attack โ€” and Iโ€™m still here. My rule is simple: as long as nothing touches my tent, Iโ€™m good. Music is a huge part of my life, so I use the songs that mean something to me, not free tracks for monetization. Copyright strikes donโ€™t matter โ€” honesty does. This channel isnโ€™t about perfection, itโ€™s about truth. Itโ€™s raw, real, and fearless. Every scary night survived is a victory. Every sunrise is freedom. Thanks for watching, for the likes, and for the comments ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ•

Hola Amigos. I hope you're all well.

So i was looking through my WhatsApps. And I get messages on a regular basis, daily, weekly, at most from Wales. Spain. Portugal. Norway and Brazil. I get others from Australia and Germany but once jn a blue moon.

So my friend Louise is doing my instagram for me. I asked to help, but she said she likes doing it to keep her busy. She's also much better at it than me. She knows what she's doing!

So, if you have instagram, then please head over and give my channel a follow.

Thank you again for the donation, Richard. I'll be getting to Benidorm today. I have the chiropractor again at 15.30 to see if he can sort this leg out. Trapped nerve, i think? ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿคœ๐Ÿค›๐Ÿ•๐Ÿ‘Œ

Buenos Dias Amigos. What a day yesterday, what a week, what a year! It's been a challenge, for sure!

So it was late when I found a job for food. So i found a place to lay down wrapped up in tarpaulin and sleeping bag. Got bit loads by mosquitoes. I'm in a cafe now watching some of my videos as a reminder of why I do this! I just wish it was about... 42.0% easier!

Anyway, I had a thought last night. Instead of walking around EVERYWHERE to find work. I am just going to find a place to chill. Go on Google maps and WhatsApp everywhere. It's got to increase my chances as I will put 1st 'Please forward to the owner or marketing team'. That is the biggest issue. As I'm not in an area too long, I can't get hold of the owners. I was thinking of whatsapping a town ahead of where I am. Get work before I go somewhere? I don't know, but something I'm doing right now isn't working. It shouldn't be this hard. I could also send my youtube so they they can see what im doing and how the work they give me helps me continue.

I'm still waking up. My leg is about the same as yesterday. A bit of numbness and cramp. I am seeing the chiropractor this afternoon. See what he says. Apparently, it is normal to feel discomfort, but prolonged numbness may mean nerve damage. That's life. You fix one problem, and another arises. ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ๐Ÿฆต

Muchas Gracias Mi Amigo Richard!! This should get me down to Benidorm tomorrow. Should be better for work down there. Many British expats.

Thank you to Kimberley also for trying to help get me to Benidorm, but she is having PayPal problems. You guys and my mum have been good to me over the past 6 years. I would not have made it this far without your help. Thanks for helping me live the life that keeps me alive. ๐Ÿ‘Œ๐Ÿ˜Š๐Ÿ•

These photos are from 2020, when I was camping near Mornas, Franceโ€”the trip where I almost gave up backpacking altogether. I hadnโ€™t eaten for nearly two days, and I only had a tiny bit of water left. The ground was too hard for my tent pegs, so I had to improvise with whatever I could find around me. Somehow, the tent stayed up.

The heat was unbearable, so I slept through the day and walked at night. One evening, I pushed myself through 15 kilometres of pitch-black countryside. By sunrise, I was completely drainedโ€”no food, no water, and ready to quit.

Then, by pure chance, I saw a man in a harvester. I asked if he had any work, and he offered me three days of grape-picking, starting immediately. While we worked, I mentioned that I had a drone. He asked how much I charged for videos. I told him I didnโ€™t knowโ€”I was still new to it. He said, โ€œDo some videos, and Iโ€™ll pay what I think theyโ€™re worth.โ€

After three days of grape-picking, he paid me โ‚ฌ180. Then he watched the drone videos, and to my surprise, he handed me another โ‚ฌ400. Just like that, I became a photographer. ๐Ÿ˜…๐Ÿ‘Œ

The very next day, I caught the first bus into Spain. France had been brutal, but that moment changed everything. ๐Ÿคœ๐Ÿค›๐Ÿ•

Today was war.

No food. No water. No money. And a back that had been broken by pain for weeks โ€” today it felt like it was tearing me in half. Every step was fire through my spine, every breath dragged like steel across raw nerves. The world had stacked the deck against me: hunger gnawed, thirst clawed, pain screamed, and still I was told โ€œno.โ€ One restaurant after another, one shop after another โ€” turned away again and again as if survival was too much to ask. Their 'NO' was my war cry.

Dehydration hit like an enemy ambush. My lips cracked, my head pounded like war drums, and my vision blurred until the streets seemed to sway beneath me. My back buckled, threatening to collapse with every stride. Thoughts of calling the police came โ€” not for law, but for rescue. I was miles from any house, any shop, any mercy. The thought whispered: just surrender, let them come get you.

But surrender was not an option.

So, I became relentless. Eleven kilometres of defiance. Eleven kilometres of dragging a battered body forward while every nerve begged for me to stop. The hunger hollowed me, the thirst burned me, the pain tried to shatter me โ€” but I refused. I walked like a soldier with no retreat, each step carved from raw will.

By kilometre nine, I was shaking. My back was a furnace of pain, my legs were stone, and my chest roared with the effort to keep breathing. Fear circled me like a predator, whispering: This is it. You canโ€™t go further. But in the rubble of exhaustion, something fierce was born. A voice โ€” not loud, not gentle, but carved in iron โ€” answered back: One more step. One more. Keep moving.

And I did.

Then โ€” the breakthrough. A doorway. Light. A glass of water was placed before me without question, as if it had been waiting all along. I drank like a warrior returning from battle, life rushing back into me with every swallow. Then food โ€” simple, ordinary, but to me, it was victory itself.

I didnโ€™t just survive today. I conquered it.

Eleven kilometres with no food, no water, a body broken by pain, a back that tried to betray me, and a city that told me โ€œno.โ€ And yet I walked through it all. Fearless is not walking without fear โ€” fearless is walking through fear, through pain, through hunger and thirst, and refusing to bow.

Today, I carried my broken back, my empty stomach, and my parched throat like weapons. Today, I proved that I do not quit.

Today, I won. I'm a lone wolf. Fearless, stubborn, and brave. ๐Ÿคœ๐Ÿค›๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿ•
