The Silent Parent

I started this channel because I couldn't say what I needed to say.

Writing the first song changed that. It felt like reaching my children when every door was closed. Like getting my voice back.

Nobody ever gave me an answer. Accusations that led to no further action, and suddenly I was out of our family home. From that same day, my daughter didn't want to see me. No reason given. No goodbye. Before this we were close and happy, and none of that was in question.

If that isn't parental alienation, what is?

On our own, each of us thinks it's just us. Put the stories side by side and the same pattern appears again and again.

None of us are alone. We've just never been in the same room.
