Mission City Church
Mission City Church is a non-denominational Christian Church that has been gathering together since 1981. We believe Jesus Christ died for our sins, was risen for our justification, and will come again in glory. We emphasize this “gospel of grace” (Acts 20:24) which is “the Lamb of God who has taken away the sins of the world” (John 1:30). We believe the proclamation of this Gospel to be the liberating power of God to a broken and sin-scarred world and central to the mission of Christ’s church.
The Gospel is emphasized in the songs we sing, the sermons we preach, and in the communion cup and bread, we share every Sunday (which is open to all who profess faith in Christ). We believe the Bible is inspired by the Holy Spirit and that Jesus is the key to understanding the Scriptures. We believe a healthy approach to doctrine to be: “In essentials unity, in nonessentials liberty, in all things love.”
