Hi everyone! I’m Matteo—some call me Matt, and for those closest, Matthew.

I was born in Rieti (Italy) on February 3, 1991.
Since I was child I've always loved photography and cinematography—I was so into it that, at the age of nine, my father placed a reflex camera in my hands, a Yashica FX‑3 Super 2000. In its lens I discovered the poetry of unguarded moments: lovers’ fleeting touches, cars roaring uphill, landscapes bathed in golden haze.
I studied at Antonino Calcagnadoro Arts High School in Rieti and graduated in 2008 as an Art Teacher and in 2010 in Art of Advertising Graphics and Photography, specializing in the branch of video editing.
Today, I stand here as both Filmmaker and Photographer—driven by the same wonder I felt at nine.
And in every frame, I chase that magic.
