The purpose of this collection is to enrich the traditional concert and educational classical guitar repertoire, by skillful insertion of touches of modern style music. As a concert performer and teacher for more than 20 years, I have frequently faced a repertoire problem with my students.
What makes the music pieces in this book so unique is that they are written by an experienced classical guitar performer. Each note is designed for logical, comfortable guitar fingering. The pieces required certain technical skills but weren’t designed as a technical exercises.
“The Marbles” suite is a result of many years of my studying, performing, listening and teaching guitar. Many of the pieces were spread out in manuscripts and performed successfully in Europe and the USA, and also became winners of international competitions for composers.
