Eddy Quinn is a singer-songwriter from Prince Edward Island. He is best known as the front man for the Island musical group Fiddlers' Sons, but he has also recorded two solo albums. Eddy mostly performs on the Island where he lives and happily works his day job as a garbage man.
Quinn has won nine P.E.I. Music Awards, including five of his own and four with Fiddlers’ Sons.
He came by his musical talent honestly, growing up on a farm in eastern P.E.I. His father is a fiddler and his sisters have musical interests as well. He began playing with bands in his teens and has been a fixture on the Island’s musical landscape ever since.
Most weekends, Quinn can be found performing with a country or traditional roots band -- filling dances, benefit concerts and ceilidhs with appreciative crowds.
In the summer, Quinn and Fiddlers’ Sons host the “Close to the Ground” music series. Shows regularly sell out and have attracted a strong following of locals and tourists alike.
