Bradford’s Shaun Dean makes Bassline with a songwriter’s ear and a DJ’s instinct: memorable hooks, heavyweight bass and records built to move a crowd. Across nearly two decades of releases, he has developed a distinctive sound that connects underground club culture with listeners far beyond the dancefloor.
His catalogue has surpassed 50 million Spotify streams. ‘Shut You Down’, released with Majestic through Ministry of Sound, accounts for over 26 million, with DEEPROT’s original YouTube upload reaching a further 31 million views. ‘What Can I Do’ has passed 10 million Spotify streams, joining favorites including ‘Have My Love’, ‘D Double’ and ‘Poison’.
Released in September 2026, ‘Naughty Producer’ brings that history into focus: 19 tracks marking 19 years in bassline. Featuring ‘Princess’, ‘Bassline Girl VIP’, ‘Play Me’ and ‘Understand’, his final bassline album celebrates the sound and community behind his career as he turns his attention to new genres and creative possibilities.
