Promising is an independent afrobeat/afropop artist from Ghana. He started writing songs in 2020 but never had the chance to record his songs then, so he took to making short freestyle videos.
Until 2022 when he released his debut single “J3J3LY” on SkiiBii’s “Trenches” beat, reproduced (remade) by HbeatPro from Nigeria. The song received much attention from his colleagues which motivated him (Promising) to put in more effort. He later released two rap (hip hop/ drill) songs “For the Money” (produced by Drizzybeatzz from Ghana) and “For Days” (produced by Makarov from Germany) within that year.
