Howdy,
My name is Peter and I love writing songs and making music. I believe, as Yo-Yo Ma once said - that "music is communion."
When I'm playing guitar, singing, writing, performing - when it's good, I really do believe music is the closest thing I've ever felt to connecting with a higher power. It's that sense of connection I'm always chasing when I pick up a guitar, sing, or perform - and it's amazing to share that with other people. I grew up in California listening to a lot of Beach Boys, Weezer, and Prince. When I lived in LA - I ate fish tacos as much as I listened to Leonard Cohen.
I recorded my album "Lions on the Beach" at Sunset Sound in LA, where The Beach Boys, Prince, The Doors made some iconic records. I'm super grateful that NPR featured my music and the Huffington Post called the album "Pet Sounds for the millennial generation". Hope you enjoy the music and videos!
