A little bit about me: I've been a home baker for several years, and I'm also a scientist (MS in Microbiology/Immunology; PhD in Biochemistry/Molecular Biology).

I approach recipe development through a scientific lens. I love researching the interplay of all the macromolecules (proteins, starches, sugars, fats). Don't worry, though, you don't need any special background or experience to bake with me. I break it all down for us.

In addition to my videos, I've built the Cakeculator, a free custom cake recipe app available on my website. As a home baker, you can choose the cake and frosting flavors to build a cake you'd want to make.
