Beau The Irish Border Collie

I am Beau, a two year old Irish Border.

I was in need of a home as my original family could not keep me. A young lady begged her folks to take me in and give me a home. It was a tough request…they just had their pure black German Shepherd put down after 12 years.

Opening a raw heart is a tough part of life. Not ready to open up yet, unsure you can share your heart so soon as it is not healed yet. However, this family heard I was going to be taken to a shelter. In the world we were living in, shelters meant death. Too many cats and dogs and not enough humans to love us all. More and more no kills were becoming kill shelters due to over crowding. It didn’t look promising for me but I kept positive and before I knew it I was picked up on Memorial Day 2023. My car manners are CRAZY. I slobber all over, jump from seat to seat and get way too excited. Some say it is my breed. Others say I have crazy in my body.

My family says I’m very smart & they love me, I’m Beau the Border Collie!
