Montserrat College of Art is a small, private, residential college of visual art & design, founded by artists, for artists. The student-centered campus is supported by a faculty and staff of practicing art professionals who encourage students to find their artistic voice while becoming personally engaged in their own education both inside and outside the classroom. The college offers a BFA degree with concentrations in animation, art education, book arts, games toys & play, graphic design, illustration, interdisciplinary arts, printmaking, painting, photo video & film, sculpture, and writing & visual narrative; with minors in art history, art education, creative writing, curatorial studies, and entrepreneurship in the arts. In addition, the college offers year-round classes for teens and adults; and summer programs for kids, teens and art educators. Four galleries exhibit works by international, national and regional contemporary artists, all of which are free and open to the public.
