Hello! I’m Wendy, an author and marketer with a passion for storytelling.

Ever since I was a child, I’ve been captivated by the power of words to transport readers to new worlds and perspectives.

I’ve worked in magazine publishing, newspapers and marketing agencies for most of my career, and written about diverse subjects from flower arranging to business acquisitions.

Creatively, my early works were scripts and plays. My two-hander ‘We Agreed’ was performed at the Lowry, a dark story which began my fascination with likeable antagonists and the grey area between right and wrong.

I now spend my creative energy writing modern-day crime stories featuring DI Robin Scott, set in the vibrant and historical tourist town Broadstone.

When I’m not writing, you’ll find me reading some gritty and twisty crime thriller, enjoying time with my family or mooching around a castle. I could also be wrestling a foreign object out of my French bulldog Ernie’s mouth …
