Jake James has a remarkable story to tell, having gone from public housing to working on Wall Street in Manhattan at age 17. Jake recognized that education was his ticket out of rural upstate New York and applied for college at just 15 years old, skipping high school and earning a Bachelor's degree in Finance at Baruch College in NYC. Simultaneously, Jake began a career on Wall Street and toured small shows in various markets where he opened for established acts, before headlining his own SOBs debut in NYC. In 2022, following the release of his EP "The Earnings Season" produced by the Grammy winning producer Street Symphony, Jake resigned and became tour support for Marc E Bassy on a nationwide tour in 12 major cities. With the release of his most recent EP "Leave of Absence", Jake has only started to tell his story with three projects under his belt and more on the way, including a debut album.
