Miami-Dade County Public Schools is the fourth largest school district in the country. The School Board of Miami-Dade County, Florida (The Board) adopted policy 6320.02 (Small/Micro, Minority/Women, and Veteran Business Enterprise Programs) to provide expanded and equitable participation by small/micro businesses, minority/women-owned and veterans in School Board procurement of goods and services, construction, and professional services.
The Office of Community Partnerships, Education & Business Access (CPEBA) promotes the economic development and growth of Small/Micro Business, Minority/Women and Veteran Business Enterprises through its certification program, community outreach programs, contract review, and monitoring activities in addition to ongoing interaction with other municipal agencies, quasi-public agencies, and the local marketplace. CPEBA currently operates under School Board Policy 6320.02.
