David Ruzumna, originally from Los Angeles, holds a degree in sociology from Humboldt State University and a law degree earned prior to passing the bar in 1997. He founded his own law practice in 2000, where he has built a longstanding career in legal advocacy and client representation. In 2012, he pursued a seat on the Superior Court, a campaign that led to his appointment as a judge pro tem in King County District Court. His judicial service grew to include multiple jurisdictions, where he served in a near full-time capacity through April 25, 2025.
