These Movies span from the 1950's until the present... Many of them show various Recreational Aviation activities... It has been a popular past-time for many in my family for several generations. The older footage is all from my Dad's collection. Dad started flying Sailplanes in 1958 in Mount Isa...and continued very actively until the late 1980s. He took extensive moving footage with his 8mm cameras and many hundreds of photos spanning many years. All of the most recent videos were shot with various Mobile Phones. As my phone cameras rhave improved over the years so too has the quality of video ... I like my videos to just capture the every day... as it happens... with minor editing. Occasionally I'll throw a soundtrack on it. Some of the ones that were edited and digitalised by someone else earlier came with music already added and that has caused some copyright problems damn it. It's important we don't forget some of this incredible stuff from way back.
