Hi, I’m Susie! I am chasing my ballet dreams in my 30s after training pre-professionally growing up, but never quite feeling like I reached my potential. Two hip surgeries in my mid-twenties forced me to stop dancing, which was devastating. After seven years away, a pandemic, and becoming a mom, I finally returned to the ballet studio in 2022.

Coming back has not been easy, but I am stubborn in the best ballerina way. I hope to inspire others to keep pursuing what they love, even when it feels “too late.”

In 2024, I performed in The Nutcracker for the first time in 17 years and danced my first ever lead role. Now I am working my way back to pointe 🩰
