This channel will be mostly for toilets in my own collection, but I may film some public restrooms on occasion. I also have a few surviving videos from my previous toilet channel.

Saw this at a restore today. Looks like a Gerber? Made in 1980. Unfortunately the tank lid was smashed. I find it interesting that the tank sides sink down low, but the middle is raised where the flush valve is. It was a nice toilet!

FYI, Chris Thurman has had to make a new channel for any content going forward. His new channel took me a minute to find so here's a link for anyone who would like to subscribe.

Just look at all those rivets! This might be the Holy Grail of antique toilet tanks, and it's mine for $25! Most likely from a Vogel toilet, but many pluming companies had them in the 19- teens and 20s. It's like a piece of steam punk industrial art!

I was able to get a look at one of those AS Town Square one piece toilets today. It's a nice toilet, but it looks weird since the bowl is so shallow.

These were delivered to a jobsite at work. I didn't know they made a one piece Town Square! It's too bad I couldn't open one.

Looks like there is a single remaining women's urinal in the Michigan state park system, and it's at Onaway State Park! It's a Kohler Hygia. Unfortunately most park bathrooms will be closed until May next year. It's cool that it attracts some public interest!

What's your opinion on bedpan lugs? Yay or nay?
I think they always make for an interesting find. I've seen some toilets with bepan lugs in hospitals but I don't think I have any on camera.

I've been more into old engines as of the last few years and I've wanted one of these for years! It's a Kohler model D "electric plant" from 1929. A tiny 4 cylinder engine that generates 110v DC. These were used on farms and in small towns before most Americans had grid power. All you had to do with flip a light switch on and the plant would crank up automatically. All done with relays and 2 starting batteries.
This one was stuck when I picked it up but after a week, I've freed it up. It will take some cleaning and checking things but I'll be excited to hear it run! Lots of these on YouTube if you're curious to hear one running.
