Bobby Schnitzer
Bobby Schnitzer is a critically acclaimed, Minnesota Hall of Fame guitarist and composer from the Twin Cities area. He is the originator of the "Red Guitar" technique and sound. He has worked with a long list of well known artists including: Al Jarreau, Taj Mahal, Mason Proffit, John Lee Hooker and Lipps Inc (FunkyTown). Bobby is also a veteran session musician for these artists and many others.
Bobby has released 15 Albums covering several genres. The Relaxation record he produced and played on with harpist Robin Berry, “Oasis” reached #8 on the New Age chart. His solo blues-based album is loved by all his local following and is garnering an ever-growing fan base across the US.
Bobby’s arrangements reflect his constant quest to reach the highest level of creativity. Nothing could demonstrate that more than his latest project, Echoes of Eternity, a decades-long collaboration with longtime friend and musical partner Bruce Kurnow.
