THE DUPREES Ambassadors of Love Songs

The Duprees have entertained audiences who have loved their unique and romantic sound for over six decades. Although members have changed throughout the years, the singing group stayed in touch with their East Coast roots and dedication to bringing favorite classics in an updated style.
In 1978, lead vocalist Mike Kelly left the Duprees and was replaced by Tommy Petillo. The group continued to perform throughout the tri-state area. The last of the original group's performances with members John Salvato, Mike Arnone, and Joe Santollo, with Larry Casanova on vocals and Tommy Petillo on lead, was New Year's 1979-80.
Tommy Petillo has been the defining lead vocalist of the group’s modern era, returning in 2022 to today. With decades of national touring, multiple studio and live albums, and thousands of performances, he has become synonymous with The Duprees’ romantic sound, with Jimmy Spanelli and Shawn Stevens continuing to preserve and expand their legacy for new generations.
