You can now get a fully updated version of my D&D cooking system over on Patreon! While a previous iteration existed in my Crafting Compendium, I felt it could be improved, so I just uploaded a 17-page PDF packed with streamlined rules, extra recipes, new ways to level up chef skills with books and mentors, and a bunch of lovely human-made art: www.patreon.com/posts/tales-arcane-155214188
This Wednesday at 6pm ET (10pm GMT) I'll be streaming here on YouTube, making a map with Inkarnate and chatting about D&D. Hope to see some of you folks there!
Really appreciate everyone who came on the livestream tonight! If you were there, then let the record show - I'm a man of my word, and the final map does, in fact, have a lagoon.
A fun channel update, folks! If you've been around for a while, you'll know that I didn't post much last year, and when I started uploading again, my views were waaaay down. I set out to improve things with weekly uploads and, gradually, the views crept up! My most recent video, however, is the first of my recent uploads to crack 10k views, and it did so in just three days! This brought in a lot of new subscribers and, for me, that’s a HUGE win; it shows me that with the right topic, title, and thumbnail (and most importantly, with consistent uploads) I can break through in the algorithm and grow the Tales Arcane audience.
This channel exists because wonderful people like yourself subscribe, comment, and motivate me to make more content, so for me, these are OUR wins, not just mine. Little by little, we’re going to grow this channel, build the following for long-form content, and…well, we'll see what happens!
This Wednesday (April 1, 6pm ET) I'll be streaming here on YouTube! We're going to be using Inkarnate's "Fantasy World Style" to create a campaign map, covering an area like an island or a small duchy. "Fantasy World" is one of Inkarnate's coolest map styles, but not the easiest when it comes to getting something really aesthetically pleasing. But with a few tips and tricks, you'll be right on track!

I use a four-pillar process to prep for any major combat encounter in D&D; that's what today's video is about!
