mOody bLaCk (a certified and award-winning Smart Arts Teaching Artist) has found an effective combination in writing poetry and infusing fun and Hip-Hop in the midst of mentoring students through the Making Words Move Institute.
mOody bLaCk offers:
- Assembly style, classroom, or virtual poetry performance
- Virtual or physical residency programs or One on One Workshops
- "The Best Part of Me" poems for participants to examine and write a poem on what they think is the best part of themselves
- Workshops: "Making Metaphors Fun," "Imagery/Awaking the 5 Senses"
