To me Music opens up inner spaces. It’s a travel in space and time, a journey in the world of deep emotions.
Music is a question of encounters, influences, partners in music. But as keyboard and synth player, you’re always inspired by the sounds in the machine. These experiences lead to musical ideas, and the new electronic material expand these possibilities hugely.
But by the mean time, I don’t want this processes and tools to close the musical process. I want them to carry and wrap the melodics and the improvisations, to create the world in which this conversation takes place. It’s probably a reminiscence of my early 70’s and 80’s music bath, with its cult of instrumental solos and improvisation, but also the result of my modest jazz experience, 20 years ago.
I’m totally blown by the sounds, textures, grooves, tools created by the musical editors; during these explorations I travel through musical worlds and ideas that I present here in my first album.
