One Minimal Life

Hi, how's your day? I hope you are well!
I'm sorry it has taken me so long to upload a new video πŸ™
I've been building something new behind the scenes, and this new video is about that journey: something in life that is too important to ever declutter.

I believe this is a passion that lives deep in your heart, even if it has been sleeping for a while. You may have had it since the day you were born. Here is the video 🎨 https://youtu.be/jdLf1orTLa4

πŸ“ΈThis is about bringing my mother's art onto the world stage. She is in her 70s, and this is about helping her work become something she can actually share with the world in real life.

We've built an online art store together for the first time.
πŸ‘‰ denmeg.com/

🎁 In case you find something you like, you can get a first-time buyer's coupon - 15% off : denmeg.com/#colophon

I'd love to share the full timeline of this journey:

πŸŽ„ December 2025: Researching and building ideas

🎍 January 2026 (First half): Proposing ideas to my mother, having many discussions together, filming, photoshoots, sampling, and building the brand.

πŸ›¬ January 2026 (Last half): Branding and design, researching online platforms and operating systems, securing a domain.

πŸ“Έ February 2026: Creating website content and copy, designing products, and setting up the product line online.

πŸ‘©πŸ»β€πŸ’» March 2026: Building the website, test launch, tweaking and adjusting, and setting up the shop system.

🌸 April 2026: Test purchases, gathering feedback on items, finalising the website design and technical systems, and launching the web store.

Thank you so much for being here. I'm always so happy to see you.☺️

Have an amazing day!

Hello! I hope you are well, and enjoying the upcoming spring β˜€οΈ
Since this year began, I have been working on a project I've never done before, so every step is a challenge and lots to learn, but moving forward little by little. This is something related to art. I would love to share it with you when it is ready, and a video too!

And I just had a thought. I wanted to ask about your favourite arts ☺️

Which types of arts are you fond of? πŸ’–

One Minimal Life

Hi, it's so lovely to see you! ☺️ How's your day been?
β˜€οΈ A new video is Live! πŸ“ΉπŸŒŸ

In this video, I wanted to share a bit about fashion, but not capsule wardrobes or trend shopping. It's about styling non-basic clothes with "outdated" or "mismatched" ones for a regular outfit.

I hope you will enjoy it!
πŸ‘‰ https://youtu.be/nL8wd4NSZQ8

πŸ’– Firstly...I'd love to share a bit of my thoughts about slow fashion. 😌

Last month, when I was looking up slow fashion, most of what came up was about how to "buy things mindfully," though I wanted to talk a bit more about it.

🌱To me, slow fashion isn't just about which sustainable clothes to buy or which slow-fashion brands to shop from, or building up a collection of clean, minimal basics.
A slow fashion wardrobe is actually quite random and mismatched. Not so much in-out circulation, it stays with the same clothes for years.

πŸ•°The slow fashion concept has been around for centuries, and it’s about appreciating clothes over the years, taking care of them, mending them, and still enjoying how you dress and show up.

πŸ›I used to collect designer brands and hunt for bargains all the time, but a few years back, I completely stopped, and that time made me look back at what I had. So I have started to get to know the clothes that I have chosen to keep better.

πŸ‘—Most of my clothes are now over ten years old, and I still wear them regularly, just styled differently every year.
When I look at my wardrobe, instead of thinking "I need that," I enjoy finding a creative way to think "I can use this," which stops me from wanting something new.

πŸ“½In this video, I wanted to focus on how to utilise wardrobe items you've owned for years and make them more versatile.

I'd love to know how you enjoy your long-loved clothes too. 😊

Thank you so much for coming along! Have a wonderful day! πŸ’–β˜•οΈ

Hi! I hope you're having a lovely day! ☺️ Today, I have a little announcement for you.

The Pre-Declutter Checklist as seen in the video πŸ“½οΈ πŸ‘‰ https://youtu.be/s_TvMCcjPn0
is now ready for you to use at home, too!

I created the 'Pre-declutter Checklist' to make my decluttering routine easier and give myself an initial push to start.

It worked for...
β˜‘οΈ Start small and declutter without feeling overwhelmed, even on busy days.
β˜‘οΈ Save time by avoiding repeat areas and tracking what’s been done and what’s next.
β˜‘οΈ Keep moving forward by focusing on your non-negotiable items to let go of.

So, I’ve updated it since then, and now you can try it too πŸ—’οΈ
πŸ–¨οΈ It's a printable checklist with a short guide, and you can also fill it in digitally.

🎁 You can grab your free [Pre-Declutter Checklist]
from here πŸ‘‰ subscribepage.io/dDcN4j
Also get ot from here πŸ‘‰ oneminimallife.com/#form

I hope you'll find it helpful!
If you do try it, I’d love to hear what you think or if there’s anything you’d like in the futureβ˜ΊοΈπŸ’•

Have a fantastic day, and see you soon! πŸ’–

One Minimal Life

Hello😊, thank you so much for coming along! Great to see you!
This New Year, I did a Life Reset spanning the UK and Japan.
This video includes a breakdown of the reset with tips I learned and discovered during the process.

Here is the video πŸ‘‰ https://youtu.be/s_TvMCcjPn0

During my visit to Japan last month, I was influenced by some wonderful encounters and by my family – my mother and my brother.
They're both incredibly smart with time management, and I was lucky to watch and learn how they manage their lives with so many tasks.

The secret was this:

"Once you've made up your mind, you just get on with it regardless of motivation. Once you've decided, you persist and keep moving forward."

Though easier said than done, knowing what I'm doing within the limited time seems to be key.

I often get caught up in a busy outside environment and inside my head... so I step back and clear up. Reflecting on myself helps.

So now I'm waking up at 5 am (or 5:30 am) , as I learned from my mother, who has been waking up at 5 am since she was 16 years old!

Resetting and refreshing my appearance (and posture), decluttering my serving items, and clearing up my surroundings...

Then, working on resetting actions by reflecting on myself daily – which isn't a couple of days, It needs persistence, yes.

What's a challenge you’re taking on this year?🀩

Have an amazing day and speak to you soon!πŸ’•

PS: Take a look at the photos. I just found some similar scenes in the UK and Japan, and they are so lovely!

Hello! ✨I hope you are enjoying a lovely start to the new year. How has your year been so far?

I am sorry to have kept you waiting πŸ™. I have been away in Japan for about a month and recently returned πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§ with new ideas and interesting video clips πŸ˜ƒ

During the visit, I also took the time to reflect on how I can adjust my life and organise my thoughts as the year begins.

I am putting together a story about a "Reset ritual" inspired by what I learnt during my stay, and I hope to see you soon!

Have a wonderful day, as alwaysβ˜ΊοΈπŸ’–

Wishing you a lovely Christmas and a beautiful, happy New Year. May 2025 bring you something amazing.

Prioritise what matters to you and live more as you are... as each year passes, I'm reminding myself of this more and more strongly.

One Minimal Life

Hi! Thank you so much for watching today's video!
In case you'd like to try it at home, here is the step-by-step guide to follow along. πŸ“Ή https://youtu.be/S0vElWFmmMQ
Please do have fun with it☺️

πŸ«• One-Pot Low-Heat Whole Foods Cooking Guide ✨

Pick your favourite wholefoods, and there are no strict rules on picking them.
Note: Some veggies take longer to cook, so you may need to adjust heating time, but make sure not to go over medium heat.

πŸ₯¬ PREP
πŸ₯¦ Reduce pesticides from vegetables:
1: Mix 1 tablespoon of bicarbonate of soda + 2 cups water
2: Soak veggies 10 mins
3: Rinse well

🌾 Reduce arsenic from rice:
1: Rinse rice
2: Soak in 5:1 water ratio and boil once β†’ turn off β†’ wait 5 mins
3: Drain & rinse well

⏲ Let's Cook
Step 1:
πŸ§„ Crush the garlic first and leave about 5 minutes while preparing the other bits)
Prepare the rice: Add beans + rice + water (just cover contents)
Cut your vegetables (varied cuts = various textures and sweetness)

Step 2:
Add firm veg to the pot first.
Leave sweet potato and broccoli aside for now (to protect heat-sensitive vitamins)
Keep on medium heat, 15-20 mins
(Timing will vary depending on your hob, pot and portion, so adjust accordingly)
Add sea salt when the ingredients get soft

Step 3:
πŸ₯¦ Then, add sweet potato + broccoli
Cook 5 more mins

Step 4:
Make a well in the centre, crack the egg and pour it in.
Lid on, heat OFF
Leave it for about 10-15 mins (retained heat cooks by itself)

Step 5:
Add beetroot dressing + sesame for your flavour.
Optopnally, fresh herbs such as thyme and basil are lovely too.

✨ Enjoy mindful eating✨
Low-heat cooking brings out pure, rich flavours of natural goodness.
The eggs cooked with retained heat not only keep nutrients but also get a mochi-like texture πŸ˜‹

What's your favourite usual meal?
If you have any questions, please let me know in the comments.

Thank you so much! πŸ’– Have a wonderful day, and a Lovely dinner!

One Minimal Life

Hello! I hope you're having a lovely day 😊
Thank you for watching the latest video about letting go of habits πŸ’•
Today, I've also written a blog article about the books that helped me get my habits sorted and build routines for breaking old patterns (and creating meaningful ones).

πŸ“š 5 Habit-Building Books That Shaped My Minimalist Life
You can read it here
πŸ‘‰ oneminimallife.com/5-habit-building-books-for-mini…

These helped me build minimalist habits.
Although none of them is specifically about minimalism, they formed the core of my practical routines.

I thought they might be useful and nice for some cosy holiday reading too 🌟.
Also, If you've read any of them, I'd love to know what you thought.

Have a lovely day and see you soon.
Keep warm β˜•οΈ
