The HELIOS project strengthens the research and innovation capabilities of Lviv Polytechnic National University (LPNU) with Twinning partners: Kauno technologijos universitetas, University of Glasgow, Rīgas Tehniskā universitāte, and Intelligentsia Consultants. Focused on developing ultra-efficient white-emitting organic systems (WOLEDs and WLEDs), HELIOS is set on five core objectives across eight work packages over three years.
Key goals include: pioneering white-light emitters (Objective 1), knowledge transfer via staff exchanges and training (Objective 2), career development for early-stage researchers through exchanges and workshops (Objective 3), enhancing LPNU’s project management skills (Objective 4), and elevating LPNU’s research profile through dissemination and outreach (Objective 5). HELIOS aims to achieve breakthroughs in sustainable lighting technology while fostering strong international research partnerships and advancing LPNU’s impact in the field.
