Before you leave your church because you feel the leaders failed you, remember how many times you also failed them.

Fear of losing salvation, fear God is always or easily angry at you, feeling God loves everyone else but not you, feeling you have to perform with works to gain God’s affection or maintain His love, fear He is constantly checking your works every minute, fear He won’t answer your prayer if you sinned, fear He wants you to suffer constantly, getting angry at God, bitter to God life isn’t going your way, fear youre cursed and cant get it broken, etc…

These are all things that are noted as Scrupulosity or different levels of religious OCD. It stems from…
NOT RECEIVING THE UNCONDITIONAL LOVE OF THE FATHER. Those who obey God out of fear rather than love. Those who strongly preach hell hell hell and the fear of God usually struggle with believing God loves them though they know it intellectually.

WOMEN AND HEAD COVERINGS

God has been delivering me from the religious spirit over the years. I used to believe women must have their head covered while praying or prophesying per 1 Cor 11. Women covering their heads was indeed tradition or cultural.

It states that in verse 2 of that chapter. The word “ordinance” Paul says is tradition in the Greek. “Keep the ordinances as I deliver them to you.” So Paul is telling the church to keep the traditions in the Body of Christ and then goes on to mention women covering their heads. Why? It was a symbol to show male authority must remain in the church. That’s all.

Just like Communion is a symbol, it is not literally the Body and Blood of Jesus. A head covering is a traditional symbol of submission but not literally submission (for there are many other ways people can submit). Rather it was an outward show or display of such submission.

Yet I’ve seen tons of women who cover their heads who have issues with authority. I’ve seen and met women in the Body of Christ who never cover their heads show more submission to male authority in the church. So does the head covering make one submissive? No. It’s just an outward symbol of tradition.

Women are not in sin if they don’t cover their heads. I can’t imagine God ignoring the prayers of millions of His daughters simply for not covering their heads. That sounds like Old Testament ordinance mixing in with New Testament law of the Spirit. Thats the religious pharisee spirit. If a woman’s heart is submissive to male authorities, believing such sturcture in the church should remain while respecting them, as well as her husband at home, that’s all that matters. The true outward symbol on display will be her fruit rather than a hat or scarf on her head. Lots of women have scarves on their heads and then act like jerks in private. Gossip, judging, lying, slandering, nosy. All of those things matter more to God than a scarf on one’s head.

If you want to cover your heads as an outward display of submission have at it. But make sure your heart attitude is covered with Christ in the secret for that is the true submission. Again Paul was saying this was a tradition to keep as he must have began seeing the women and male roles slowly inverse in the church of Corinth, hence him also saying women should keep silent in the next chapter since they were supposedly interrupting meetings. Paul then told them to ask their husbands at home and remain silent during those services. So this seems to show the context of what Paul wrote in the previous chapter of head coverings.

If you ever heard a pastor or teacher saying you’re in sin for not covering your head or indirectly implying it (some won’t say it directly), you’re putting yourself in bondage and those leaders are religious, full of pride, ignorance, or both.

God led me to buy this land and shortly after the Cleveland Browns decided to move their new stadium to that very city only minutes away. God knows what He is doing.

ETWC has found another missionary partner to help fund each month. To my right is Tulio. He is a hard working servant of God who has done dozens of crusades all over Venezuela with hundreds of thousands of people and tens of thousands accepting Jesus. I had the pleasure of meeting him face to face to work together on our crusade this summer in Cúcuta, Colombia. He is a humble man who loves souls and his work ethic for the kingdom is rare. Now at ETWC we are supporting missionary partners in Colombia, Dominican Republic, Pakistan, Haiti, Mexico, Illinois and now Venezuela. Thank you to everyone who continues to support the ministry. I keep praying for more missionary contacts so we can help support them as they bring souls to our Lord Jesus.

Thank you to everyone who prayed for our crusade in Cúcuta, Colombia. It was a success with over 3,000 people, at least 300 people accepting Jesus as their Savior or rededicating their lives to Him, and 18 healings. Thank you to everyone who partnered financially as well. Praise the Lord Jesus Christ!

I pray John MacArthur repented of his false teachings of cessationism. He helped rob millions of believers worldwide of receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit. May God have had mercy on his soul. I personally think he stood before God thinking he would hear “well done good servant” but was horrified to find out “Lord I prophecied in your name, how can you say you don’t know me per Mat 7:22?” MacArthur twisted the gifts today by saying today’s preachers from the pulpits are prophets of today prophesying since the gift of prophecy ceased. So he believed he prophecied in Gods name.

Only God knows where MacArthur is now. But the damage in the Body that man did by robbing so many from receiving the baptism of the Holy Spirit…Lord have mercy on Macarthurs soul.

Voddie Bauchum as well as other famous Calvinist preachers in the Western Christian sphere said “All the Gospel requires is repentance and faith (ie not obedience which he stated). The Gospel doesn’t require obedience, the Gospel produces obedience.”

Many famous preachers today say this. That obedience is the fruit of our faith. This is partially true however let’s address his claim.

Does the Gospel produces obedience? It can. Yet why does Voddie and Calvinists like MacArthur, Sprole, Washer, etc also say we will always continue to sin? I agree that we will never be perfect in this life. But to say the Gospel produces obedience isn’t true.

The Gospel produces the DESIRE to obey God. However, you can reject that desire. This is why you have to be careful of your theology. These guys don’t believe you have free will. So they assume God makes you obey Him once born again. So then whose fault is it if you sin after being made new in Christ? They’ll never say God but if they’re truly honest with their reformed theology they have to admit it’s also God.

Jesus says in Mat 7:21 only those who do the will of the Father enter heaven. The HS gives us new desires and convictions after coming to belief in Jesus, true saving belief, but that doesn’t mean you will act on those desires and convictions. You have to cooperate with the HS by choosing to resist temptations in those many moments you will have, which isn’t God resisting but you. It’s Him HELPING but not DOING it for you. See the difference between the true faith and the false reformed faith?

The early church believed we have free will. They didn’t believe it was God’s fault if we obey Him or disobey Him.
