Bangladesh Shipping Agents’ Association was established under License No. 02/1978 of the Ministry of Commerce. The main objective of this Association is to resolve problems faced by its members and to make a positive contribution to the long-term progress of the Ports & Shipping industry in Bangladesh. BSAA enjoys a high reputation at all official levels including the Ministry of Shipping, National Board of Revenue, Chittagong Customs House, Chittagong Port Authority, Mongla Port Authority, Payra Port Authority, Dhaka ICD, FBCCI, CCCI, BGMEA, etc.
The Vision of BSAA is to be an effective and efficient maritime administration transforming Bangladesh into a globally competitive maritime nation.
The Mission of BSAA is to achieve sustainable, safe, and secure shipping, cleaner oceans, & enhanced maritime capability through effective regulation, coordination, and oversight of maritime affairs.
