POMATO is an EU-funded project under the HORIZON Research and Innovation Actions, supported by the European Research Executive Agency (REA). Launched in May 2025, the project will run for 48 months. The primary goal of POMATO is to develop and implement innovative strategies to combat bacterial diseases in potato and tomato crops, aiming to improve food security and promote sustainable agricultural practices across Europe and beyond.
