Asawana Farms, an organic farm located in Upper Marlboro, MD. Asawana Farms has been in operation for over four years, serving both as a productive farming enterprise and an educational hub. Specializing in Afro-Caribbean vegetables and medicinal plants from Africa, the farm occupies 0.5 acres of arable land, where we practice sustainable, organic farming techniques to grow unique and culturally significant crops.
