I've been a promo writer/producer at several TV stations in Arkansas and Wisconsin, and have done other projects since then with my own gear. This is where I'll post samples of my work for your amusement and bewilderment. My home base is theLogBook.com, a site devoted to several different flavors of geekiness, which has its own YouTube channel.
Most recently I've signed on as the technical director of Roddenberry Entertainment's Mission Log Live live videocasts on Tuesday nights.
Just a quick note - with regard to my old news promos, I would ask that you don't bother filling the comments with complaints about the topic or the reporting or the "slant". I was a promo writer/producer, not the news director. My job wasn't to come up with the stories, but to sell them to the viewer, verbally+visually, in a way that would catch their interest and say "I have to watch this." I didn't have any bearing on the "angle" of the stories, or indeed their content.
Thanks for dropping by.
