I’m doing something a little different with Game Audio Boston this month!
I was originally going to give a talk about game jams, but instead we decided to turn it into an actual Game Audio Jam. 🎶
On September 29th at 7PM EDT, I’ll be talking about my own experiences with game jams, why I think they’re valuable, and how they can lead to opportunities, collaborations, and careers in games. Then we’ll kick off the jam! You’ll get some game clips and a week to make something with them. No prizes, judging or competition. Just an opportunity to make something, experiment, and have some fun with audio!
Would love to see some of you there! 🥳

I started writing my book about game jams from a game audio perspective! If this is a topic you're interested in, which best describes you?

I’m happy to share that I’m now a Mentor for Always Supporting the Games Community (ASGC)! 🎮
ASGC is a community dedicated to helping people build careers in the games industry, and I’m really looking forward to being part of it.
Mentorship and community have played a huge role in my own journey into game audio. I’ve had so many people share their knowledge and give me a helping hand along the way, so I’m really happy to have the opportunity to pay some of that forward and support the next generation of game audio professionals.
A huge thank you to @AmirSatvat for the work you do to support people pursuing careers in games. Happy to contribute! 🫡

A while ago, I received a completely unexpected email.
Today, I got to be part of something that feels like a big milestone in my career. I can’t say what it is yet, but it’s something significant in the games industry, and I’m incredibly proud to have been part of it.
I’ll be able to share more in a few months! 🤐

Wobbly Life is out on Switch 2 and mobile today! 🥳
I had a lot of fun working on the music for the Wobbly Life: Space Update, so it’s awesome seeing the game continue to reach new platforms. Now I finally have a good excuse to sit in my studio and play it on my Switch 2! 🎮
Wobbly Life is now available on Nintendo Switch 2, iOS, and Android, alongside its existing platforms.
Very happy to have been a small part of this wonderfully chaotic game! @RubberBandGames

I’ve worked remotely for my entire career, so having a studio that I genuinely want to spend time in has always been important to me. This room is a representation of my love for games, from the ones I grew up playing to the games I now get to make a living working on!
From my childhood games, things I’ve collected over the years, merch from games I’ve worked on, and nerdy treasures from trips to Japan. Some are nostalgic, some are trophies, and some are just things that make me happy.
Tools of the Trade:
Piano: Roland FP-30X
MIDI: Novation Launchkey 49 MK3

Microphone: RØDE NT1 5th Gen
Computer: i9-13900K / RTX 4080
Interface: Universal Audio Volt 276
DAW: Ableton Live 12 Suite
Other: An unreasonable collection of VSTs
