Al wrote the song "You Make Me Sick" for the C. Thomas Howell horror film "Sick People" (2016)
He also wrote the lead song "Afraid Of Me" for the new Michael Gross film "Our Father" (Which was nominated for an LA Independent Film Award in 2015)
His song "If Trucks Drank Beer" was licensed for MTV's hugely popular RockBand video game, Bobby Cash's recording of Al's song, 'Train, Train', was a top 20 hit in Australia. He also placed "Where The Money Goes" with Cupit Records artist Dave Russell. His songs have been featured on The Doctor Demento Show, reached radio audiences in the millions on WSM (home of the Grand Ole' Opry) and have been performed around the globe by recording artists and co-writers like 2008 Kerrville winner CJ Watson. Al has performed on the Opry Star Spotlight, and has had songs regularly featured on the show.
He was a writer for Shadow Mountain Music Group/Mountain Row and he has been a professional song critic for NSAI-- The Nashville Songwriters Association.
