Sound and the Sea uses original footage to chronicle the wilderness of the greater Long Island Sound watershed, documenting life from the New England forests, throughout the Sound and Long Island, and out to the Atlantic's offshore canyons.
We are a natural history project dedicated to observation. Combining cinematic storytelling with a naturalist's perspective, we aspire to build a permanent library of the complex lives sharing our world—from the fragile dune lives of Piping Plovers to the open-ocean journeys of Blue Sharks.
Our Schedule:
Mini-Documentaries (Every other Thursday): Narrative-driven stories grounded in behavioral ecology and conservation science.
Immersive Nature (Every other Sunday): Extended, unscripted sequences focusing on natural soundscapes and undisturbed behavior.
Filmed with a strict commitment to ethical wildlife photography and ecological accuracy. Welcome to Sound and the Sea.
