Hey, what's up everyone!

I like to play videogames. It all started once upon an incredible Christmas morning when I unwrapped an NES, and played Super Mario Brothers for the next year straight. What started in the mid 80's as an obsession turned into a life-long adventure into magical new kingdoms, fascinating new worlds, and the ability to interact with incredibly imaginative new gaming characters and abilities.

I founded The Chicago Retro Gamer in order to create a fun, safe, and engaging community where gamers of all different walks of life can celebrate our shared passion of video games.

I lived in the great city of Chicago for many years, but now live in California. I was going to change the name of this group, but then an overwhelming sense of nostalgia kicked in :) Funny how that happens, right?
