INDIAN COFFEE WORKERS CO-OP. SOCIETY LTD JABALPUR- To form Co-operative society at Jabalpur, there were a great effort & support of Adv.Late Shri.P Sadasivan Nair & Late.Shri.L.N.Mehrotra who are the founder member of the Society. Society started its 1st branch at Wright Town, Jabalpur on 9.1.1958, with mere amount of Rs.1365.00 &16 members.1st 2 decades, the growth of the society was very slow & there were many challenges. Due to poor financial position of the Society, the wages to the workers were very less. A turning point in the progress of the Society is taken place after the new managing committee came under the leadership of Dr.O.K. Rajagopalan in the year of 1981.After taken over the position of Hony.Secretary of the Society, Dr.O K Rajagopalan taken decision to renovate existing branches & to open more branches in cities of M.P & C.G. Now entering in to the 68th year of its existence, the Society have 191 branches & 12 Lodges. Running industrial Canteens of NTPC, NMDC etc
