My name is Valentin Astier, I am a 32 years old professional photographer and videographer.
My collaborations cover a multitude of possibilities: reportages, portraits, events, corporate, brands, packshots, weddings, etc.
My personal work is related to travel, whatever its form. It is instinctive, I let myself be impregnated by the atmosphere of each place. I am sensitive to the contemplative poetry of my stories.
The influence of time and absence fascinate me. They echo the concept of liminal space. This can be seen as a threshold of perception, a border between two states, what was and what will be. They are spaces of transition and waiting, physical or psychological.
