Yesterday I graduated from the “Advanced International Training – A Gestalt Therapy Field Approach to Development and Psychopathology" with Margherita Spanuolo-Lobb in Italy. I learnt so much and I am so happy and grateful that I dared to take this step. Thank you for all the support - to the colleagues, who encouraged me to enrol, to my sister, who came with me on the first seminar and with whom we got lost in Siracusa’s streets and laughed so much, to the gorgeous colleagues with whom I had the honor to study, the wonderful teachers and last but not least all the lovely people I work in therapy with who inspire me to learn more and more everyday. Thank you! 💜

Yesterday I turned 37 years. ☀️
Some years ago I wasn’t happy about having a birthday. I felt upset that I was getting old, that time was flying too fast and I haven’t yet achieved what I’ve hoped for at this age. This way I couldn’t see that each year we get to live is actually a present.
💜 Now I am grateful that I turned 37 and I hope that I will be able to add more and more years to my life, filled with precious moments, kind people, heartfelt sharings, laughter and gorgeous sights. And yes, there will be some grey hairs and wrinkles, however it is not necessary to focus so much on them - when you look for reasons to enjoy your life and create joyful moments deliberately, your body’s age isn’t that noticeable.
🙏Thank you to all wonderful people around me that you are there and thank you for all the warm celebration and greetings I’ve received. And special thanks to my teachers and therapists who are a living example that even when someone is 80 years old there is still a lot to celebrate and enjoy, there is still space to create and a lot to give. ❤️

It doesn’t have to be perfect. It doesn’t need to be all shiny and in perfect order. It’s not necessary to have the perfect body, in order to feel happy and enjoy life. Perfect is an illusion. What counts is to invest love in the things you do, in your home, in your body and in the relationship with your loved ones. This is good enough. Let the illusion of perfect go, you don’t need it! 💜

You feel sad during your vacation? That’s absolutely normal, in case you are used to suppressing your emotions by working too much, constantly taking care of your home afterwards, eating too much, scrolling too much and so on. And all of a sudden during your vacation you have some space and silence - and, oh my God, what is this sadness doing here?! Well, it makes total sense. The sadness needs to come out in order to be lived through, otherwise it won’t dissapear, but it will force you to work more or whatever strategy you usually use to stuff your emotions down. So instead of being angry how come you feel sad facing those gourgeous views, just sit for a moment with yourself and feel it. Just sit with it and breathe. Now write down what is coming up for you. It will get better. 💜
